

The rules concerning packing and sending parcels from England to Poland and from Poland to England.
Packaging
- A parcel should be packed in a cardboard box with rigid sides, filled in such a way that the packaging will not bend,
- No elements can stick out of the parcel,
- Parcels cannot be a connection of a few elements. Each package must be sent as a separate dispatch, and each packed must contain the address data of the recipient,
- Items such as glass, porcelain, electronic equipment, small household appliances etc. must be packaged in a proper way, protecting them from any damage occurring during transport, namely each items inside a carton must be wrapped in a bubble foil and foamed polystyrene. On the inside the carton must be lined with minimum 2 cm layer of Styrofoam and outside the parcel must be clearly marked " Fragile. Handle with care." Such dispatch should be additionally insured.
Extra charges
- For different dispatches packed in : sacks , bags, suitcases, etc. - the sender must pay an extra charge amounting to £ 2.00 for each dispatch unit due to additional packaging of the parcel on the Polish territory before transporting it by our dispatching firm,
- Parcels rejected from being transported on the Polish territory by the dispatching firm DPD due to improper packaging (not acceptable by DPD Poland) will have to be repacked in the warehouse of Dar Trans Parcels/ Amo Trans Co. Ltd in Poland and send again to the receiver, which involves extra payment of 45.00 PLN Net, covered by the receiver of the parcel in Poland,
- Untypical dispatches such as TV sets, furniture, bicycles, large household appliances, quads, cookers, prams, toys and other such items with are not packed must be sent on Polish territory as "industrial" dispatches which means they must be sent on pallets. This involves extra payment of £ 30.00. The size of the dispatch cannot exceed 120 cm in length, 80 cm in width, 140 cm in height and the maximum weight is 100 kg. In such cases it is necessary to contact the Dar Trans Parcels office in London in order to accept the dispatch for transport.
Limitations
- The minimum calculable weight of a parcel is 10 kg,
- The parcels must not contain inflammable or explosive materials, corrosive substances or other goods mentioned in the ADR convention, weapons or ammunition. Easley perishable goods and particularly fish, meat, eggs or products containing them are also forbidden. The same applies to pharmaceuticals, components for producing medicines, drugs and substances influencing perception or causing hallucinations. Items for which the excise duty markings are necessary (such as alcohol and tobacco products) cannot be sent either.
